Application Sectors

The application sectors for these new solutions are manifold. These include:

  • detailed monitoring of large and remote areas, for example in the fields of mineral and geological exploration or for civil protection purpouses (hydrogen fuel cell powered drone)
  • inspection of tunnels, galleries, confined industrial environments or the monitoring of critical, even unmapped areas, following major man-made accidents or natural events (Indoor drone for confined spaces)
  • extended monitoring with swarms of drones, for example in public and private security and surveillance, and civil protection
  • control of large, impervious or critical areas that make traditional ground-charging operations complex and unworkable (in flight drone powering with laser systems)

Being an active participant in highly innovative technological projects is part of MAVTech’s DNA. Thanks to its in-house expertise and partnerships with Research Institutions and Universities, there are numerous opportunities for the company to explore and develop innovative products capable of opening up new market opportunities that open up new markets, offering increasingly advanced and optimized solutions.

The scope of MAVTech projects ranges from new power systems/solutions —capable of overcoming current flight endurance limitations—, to the study of new materials, the integration of sophisticated sensors into the flight platform, and intelligent systems for managing navigation in confined and critical environments, characterized by GPS/GNSS denied or compromised situations.

It also extends to the development of advanced solutions involving coordinated drone swarms, as well as collaborative Drone/Rover platforms.

The company’s goal is to engineer these innovations and to finalize research prototypes into final products available on the market.

Dedicated to the world of Universities, Research centers, and development teams wishing to experiment with new solutions in the field of integrated, including heterogeneous, robotic systems, the MAVTech P2X solution is already available.

Compatible with motion capture systems such as VICON, it allows users to conduct research, experimentation, and validation activities under controlled and repeatable conditions, supporting the development and testing of autonomous guidance and navigation algorithms.
