Q4X

multipurpose
quadcopter

The Q4X drone is the result of a long process of design, testing, and continuous refinement, which has led to an extremely robust and reliable platform.

Developed to meet the needs of SAR (Search and Rescue) operations, with particular focus on mountain rescue, the Q4X offers high-altitude reliability and the ability to operate in complex environmental conditions, including light rain. Its versatility makes the Q4X suitable for numerous applications, from surveillance and inspection to monitoring, delivery, surveying and data acquisition activities.

The modular architecture combines a high payload capacity with an extended operational range. The drone integrates a dual-antenna GNSS RTK system, capable of receiving corrections both from a local base station and through network services via a 4G connection. The dual antenna also enables accurate estimation of the drone’s orientation, reducing reliance on the magnetometer and improving operational reliability in areas affected by magnetic interference. The foldable arms and removable landing gear simplify transportation and speed up field deployment.

The Q4X is also available in a tethered configuration, with continuous ground power supply, for missions requiring extended flight duration, up to 24 hours. This configuration is particularly suitable for surveillance, monitoring, and integration of communication systems and radio relay bridges.

The payload capacity and the standard payload connection system shared across MAVTech platforms allow the integration of a wide range of cameras, sensors, and mission-specific equipment. The interface enables quick payload replacement without complex reconfigurations and supports the development of customized solutions according to the customer’s specific operational requirements.

The combination of robustness, modularity, and reliability makes the Q4X a versatile solution for complex operational missions across a wide range of application fields.
