Innovation in viticulture: from Piedmont to South Tyrol
Between May and June, MAVTech s.r.l. took part in two major events dedicated to technological innovation in viticulture, showcasing its expertise in drone technology and aerospace applications for precision agriculture.
Vigna LAB – May 28, Tenuta Cannona (Carpeneto, AL)
At the Tenuta Cannona Experimental Center for Viticulture, MAVTech participated in Vigna LAB, an event organized by Fondazione Agrion, Edagricole, Regione Piemonte, and Unioncamere Piemonte. The event brought together hundreds of professionals, companies, and enthusiasts for a day focused on emerging technologies in the wine sector.
During the event, MAVTech presented its M6 drone in a live spraying demonstration between the vineyard rows. The drone is equipped with an anti-sloshing tank currently patent pending, developed in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino. At the MAVTech stand, visitors could also see the RX3 model, fitted with the Altum PT multispectral camera by AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc., and the MOLIRIS rovers developed by partner Info Solution s.r.l.
In the morning, CEO Roberto Bellora and Project Manager Gianluca Ristorto presented the company’s activities and explored the potential of aerospace technologies applied to precision agriculture.
Technical Field Day – June 5, Laimburg Research Centre (South Tyrol)
One week later, MAVTech also took part in the Technical Field Day in Viticulture at the Laimburg Research Centre. The event hosted 51 exhibitors and showcased the latest solutions for sustainable and technologically advanced viticulture.
Once again, MAVTech exhibited its M6 and RX3 drones, the latter featured in several flight demonstrations equipped with the Altum PT multispectral camera. Alongside MAVTech, partner Info Solution showcased its MOLIRIS rovers, offering a comprehensive range of advanced tools for vineyard monitoring and management.
Participation in these two events highlights MAVTech’s ongoing commitment to developing and promoting smart solutions for agriculture, with a focus on continuous innovation and sustainability.
